A wonderful charming scene, with a whimsical narrative, capturing an artist at his easel in a sun=dappled meadow - but he’s not alone! A delightful cast of woodland friends have gathered to watch , a majestic peacock perches on the stone wall, deer and curious hares lean in for a closer look, while a woodpecker, robin and soaring hawk keep watch from above. Even a tiny mouse has made itself right at home on the artist’s hat!
Painted in soft, atmospheric watercolour with expressive ink linework, it blends gentle humour with a deep love for the natural world - where every creature is both observer and inspiration.
A4 Original Watercolour and ink pen, signed by the artist, mounted in a white mount and framed in a 16× 12 inch white frame.
